Bushvalley Chickens is a poultry-rearing operation focused on maintaining high standards in chicken health, production, and facility upkeep. We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking two dedicated Control Room Operators to monitor operational activities, coordinate responses to incidents, and ensure effective communication between departments to maintain smooth operations across our farms and abattoir.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor CCTV camera systems and operational activities.
- Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks affecting performance.
- Track fleet movements and operational status.
- Coordinate communication between Production and Engineering departments to resolve equipment breakdowns and production build-ups.
- Monitor and respond to alarms from various farms and operational sites.
- Coordinate operational responses between day and night shift teams across the farms and abattoir.
- Record and report operational incidents, downtime, and corrective actions.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical issues to the relevant personnel.
- Work alternating day and night shifts as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Previous experience in a control room, operations monitoring, security monitoring, or a similar environment will be advantageous.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good computer literacy and the ability to monitor multiple systems simultaneously.
